JUL 6 - SUMMER FEST: PICNIC IN THE PARK

Event Description:
Join us at the Fort Vancouver National Site for a wonderful community event filled with a full day of activities for families and people of all ages. Free and open to all. Picnic in the Park features two stages with live music and entertainment, games on the lawn, magicians, face painting and lots of fun for the entire family. Pack a blanket, get ready for some fun snacks, purchase food from local vendors, along with beer tastings for those 21 and over in the beer garden.

AUG 2 - 4 - VANCOUVER USA ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Event Description
The inaugural Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival comes to Esther Short Park (W. 8th & Columbia streets) and downtown Vancouver. Free and open to all ages, the festival invites community members and visitors to experience three days of exciting music, art, dance, food and fun in downtown Vancouver. Three outdoor stages will host more than 30 live music and dance performances, from jazz to alt rock, and African beats to Ukrainian pop. Regional and national art shows will be on display with works available for purchase during the festival.

This 28th Annual Girlfriends All-Women’s Triathlon & Fitness Festival at a beautiful venue along the Columbia River offers something for everyone so rally your girlfriends, train together and then cross the finish line with your best girls! It is one of the most scenic areas with views of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and Vancouver Lake. The course is flat and fast with a down-current swim close to the shore so perfect for a 1st time Triathlon or Multisport event! Kids Triathlon and a Sunset 5K/10K are scheduled Friday night and Co-Ed events on Saturday so make a whole weekend of it for the whole family!

The Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival is "...the largest festival of its kind in the Northwest..." WDNA Miami is partnering with the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival to bring a group of people here to the Festival this summer. WDNA is one of the best jazz stations in South Florida. The Festival features GRAMMY-winning nationally acclaimed jazz, blues, and gospel bands, local and regional bands, and student musicians, fine artists from Oregon, Washington, and California, 60 Northwest wines, local restaurants, and commercial exhibitors.
