A Year of Gratitude, Growth, and Celebration with Go With Ro Real Estate

As we wrap up another year, we’re reflecting on the joy, milestones, and gratitude that defined 2024. It’s been a busy, fulfilling year, filled with moments of celebration with family, friends, and our incredible clients. Most recently, we welcomed a new member to the Go With Ro family—Zoey, our adorable white Labrador! She’s already stolen our hearts and become a bright spot in our lives. 

Professionally, we’re incredibly grateful for a standout year, closing 72 transactions and earning the 2024 Best of Clark County title by popular vote. None of this would have been possible without the trust and support of our amazing clients—you make this work meaningful, and we’re endlessly thankful for the opportunity to help you achieve your real estate dreams. 

Highlights from 2024

This year, we had the privilege of working with a wonderful mix of new and returning clients. 

We were honored to assist our longtime clients, David and Jolene Nansel, in selling their Camas home while finding a new home closer to their kids, Erika and Nick, who live on the west side of town. It is especially meaningful because I’ve had the privilege of helping Erika and Nick with their home purchases. Family means everything to the Nansel’s—they cherish game nights, family dinners, and the joy of spending time with their grand dog. It was a true honor for our team to play a role in making it easier for them to be closer to the ones they love most.

Our team was heartbroken to hear of the passing of a dear friend and former client, Kari Sadewasser, in late 2023. This year, we were honored to work with her family to sell her home and help her sister, Carleen, move back to Washington to be near family. Carleen now lives in the same condo complex she and Kari shared in their early 20s—a touching full-circle moment that brought back special memories. 

We were also thrilled to help Billy and Carolin Yeung, friends and old neighbors, as they sold their beautiful Felida home, which we helped them build many years ago. We are excited to see them embark on a new adventure down south! It was bittersweet to say goodbye, but we’re thrilled about the new experiences and opportunities ahead on their move to Texas! 

Celebrating Family Milestones

On a personal level, this has been a year full of joyful milestones. We celebrated not one but two weddings in the Lusby-Caplice family! This spring, Brian married his wife, Sara, and in the fall, Timmy married his wife, Sarra. We’re gearing up for yet another wedding! Madison got engaged during a summer trip to Portugal with their longtime partner, our incredible Marketing Director, Sarah Boess Whelan. We’re thrilled to welcome all these wonderful Sarahs, Saras, and Sarras into our family—and we’re open to nickname suggestions to help us keep things straight! 

It’s also been a year of career growth. Charlie is thriving in his new role in commercial real estate in Seattle and Lilly started law school this fall. Meanwhile, Tim is preparing to retire after a successful career with ConMet—a well-deserved transition we’re all excited to celebrate. 

Supporting the Community

Giving back to our community remains at the heart of everything we do at Go With Ro Real Estate. As a proud board member of the Southwest Washington Humane Society, I’m deeply connected to its mission of supporting families and their pets. 2024 marked the third year of our #PetoftheWeek initiative, in which we proudly sponsor the adoption fee for 52 pets a year. 

Walk/Run for the Animals
This year’s Walk/Run for the Animals was a testament to our community’s dedication, with an incredible turnout despite the rainy weather. We were thrilled to host a crowd-favorite doggie kissing booth, complete with “Max’s Fresh Breath Kits” with pet safe toothpaste and toothbrushes. Seeing the joy and excitement from participants—and their furry companions—was heartwarming and a wonderful reminder of how much our community cares about supporting animals in need. 

Unleash Your Heart Gala
At the Unleash Your Heart Gala, we proudly sponsored the silent auction, contributing to a magical evening of generosity and compassion. The event brought together animal lovers across the region, raising vital funds to support the Humane Society’s mission. It’s always inspiring to see how much our community comes together for this cause, and being part of such a meaningful evening is an honor.

A Cherished Holiday Tradition
Our holiday cookie box tradition is another way we show gratitude to our clients and community. For over 10 years, we’ve packed and delivered these sweet treats, a project that started with my kids’ hand-packing and delivering each box themselves. Today, the tradition has grown along with our business, and this year, our team packed and shipped over 400 boxes! Even our four-legged supervisor, Zoey got in on the action, ensuring every box was up to her high standards. This tradition is more than just cookies—it reflects the incredible relationships we’ve built and a chance to share a little extra joy during the holiday season. We look forward to this holiday tradition yearly, as do the wonderful clients we love. 

Whether it's helping families settle into their dream homes, supporting animal adoptions, or spreading holiday cheer, everything we do is rooted in connection and community. It’s our privilege to give back and strengthen the bonds that make this community so special—for the people and pets who call it home. 

Onto the New Year!

As we welcome a new year, the Go With Ro team is excited for another busy season of helping clients achieve their real estate goals. Whether it’s guiding first-time buyers, navigating sales for families ready to move on, or assisting investors in finding the perfect opportunity, we’re here to make every step of the journey seamless and rewarding. The 2025 market shows promising signs. Experts predict a building boom in new construction, moderating mortgage rates, and increased activity as pent-up demand begins to ease. With rising home sales projected for 2025 and 2026, it’s a hopeful outlook for buyers and sellers alike. It’s the perfect time to plan your next move, and we’re ready to help you make it happen! 

On a personal note, this year, we are looking forward to spending more time with family, traveling, and taking our dogs to the beach as often as possible. Giving back will also remain a priority, as will serving our loyal clients with their home sales and referrals. We genuinely love what we do. We are beyond blessed, and I thank each of you every day.
