Now that summer is coming to an end, we are marking our calendars for all the upcoming Fall events happening in Clark County! There are countless family-friendly activities to attend or visit the upcoming beer and restaurant festivals highlighting fantastic local restaurants and breweries.

SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL AT BI-ZI FARMS This will be the first annual event for Bi-Zi Farms! All ticket holders receive a hayride and one cut sunflower. Additional sunflowers and vases will be available for purchase. Spots are limited, so register for tickets online in advance.

Starting up at North Jetty Brewing at the mouth of the Columbia, down to Everybody’s Brewing in White Salmon, North Bank Beer Week is a celebration of Southwest Washington Beer. Each day of this week will be packed full of events like Beer Can Derby Races, Oktoberfest at Barlow’s Public House, Run The Haze at Trap Door, and a culminating Brewing Bridges Collaboration Festival! Sponsored by Great Western Malt & Country Malt Group.

APPLETREE MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, AND SUNSET 5K The 4th Annual AppleTree Boston-Qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon & Sunset 5K is back. Sponsored by PeaceHealth, the run will support the Police Activities League, a non-profit that partners with law enforcement agencies to promote positive relationships between law enforcement officers and youth in the community through educational programs and recreational opportunities.

VANCOUVER SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CLASSICAL CONCERT SERIES Join the VSO in-person or via live stream for the first weekend of their 2021/22 classical music season. September 25th and 26th they will present Schubert’s Tragic Symphony at the Skyview Concert Hall.

WALK TO END ALZHEIMERS SW WASHINGTON Join the annual Walk To End Alzheimer’s in Esther Short Park to help fundraise for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This walk is held annually in over 600 communities nationwide and calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

OCTOBER
October 1st-31st |
For the entire month of October, restaurants, breweries and wine tasting rooms in Clark County will present special menus for dine-in and takeout. Participating restaurants will offer fixed, three-part menus comprised of soup, salad, appetizer, entrée, dessert, or craft beverage items. Enjoy delicious foods and be sure to check in at 5 restaurants to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

Head to downtown Camas for the 16th annual Pumpkin Pageant! Participating downtown businesses each will carve a pumpkin and you will get to vote for your favorite! There will also be Disney and fall-inspired Kids’ crafts and activities as well as live music, and festive shopping and dining.

SOLE SUPPORT WALK FOR PARKINSONS Raise awareness for Parkinson’s and the resources available to patients and families living with this disease at the Sole Support Walk hosted by Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon. The walk will start in Esther Short Park and raise funds for services crucial to living well with Parkinson’s.

CHELATCHIE PRAIRIE RAILROAD: FALL LEAVES SPECIAL Take a Fall train ride on the historic Chelatchie Prarie Railroad through a 330 food solid rock tunnel, to the Heisson area with a stop at Moulton Station to visit Yacolt Falls. This special weekend will feature a tour of the changing leaves with stunning natural views.

CEDAR CREEK GRIST MILL APPLE CIDER PRESSING Join Cedar Creek Grist Mill for a family-friendly and festive day pressing apple cider on hand-cranked presses. Then sit back and relax to enjoy the Bluegrass Jam on the back deck.

The annual scary run is back in beautiful Washougal, WA! Don your best Halloween costume and run or walk the Half Marathon, 10k, or 5K with festive food and drink to follow. The best part? The run is a fundraiser for local schools, clubs, and non-profits.
