Get along little dogie to the largest show of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. The Washington State Horse Expo will feature exhibits, stage shows, rider fashions, and other vendor booths for the equine enthusiast. The exhibit is for all levels of riders, for those who just want to learn more about the care and upbringing of horses, or those who just love horses!

The Southwest Washington Wind Symphony presents “Women of Note”

When: March 4, 3-4:15 p.m.

Where: Performing Arts Center, Union High School, 6201 NW Friberg-Strunk Street, Camas, WA 98607

Price: Free

Behind conductor Patrick Murphy, the 50-musician symphony will play selections from contemporary women composers. Khan by Julie Giroux, Volver al la Montana by Shelley Hanson, and Chasing Sunlight by Cait Nishimura.

Drink This: St. Practice Day

Price: Free to participate, beverage cost varies by location

Spend an evening trying local artisan beers throughout Downtown and Uptown Vancouver and maybe win a prize along the way. While some venues are all ages during certain times, it’s best to check first – some venues are 21-over only.
